MOSES BASKET SAFETY

Our baskets are designed for newborns only and recommended as a supervised sleeping device. Do not leave infant unattended while basket is in use. It’s suitable until your baby is approximately 4 months old, or when baby can roll over, push up or crawl, whichever comes first. Once your baby can do this please seek alternative bedding.

Please use the mattress provided as this has been custom fit to suit the dimensions of your individual handmade basket. It’s advised to not add additional bedding such as pillows, blankets, toys etc. Unless advised otherwise by a medical practitioner, it’s recommended to place newborns on their backs to sleep, to reduce the risk of SIDS.

Do not carry your baby in this basket. Remove your baby from the basket and carry separately while you relocate the basket. It is not designed to be a carrying device.

Baskets should always be placed on a firm and flat surface. It is recommended to keep basket on the floor/ground while baby is inside. Do not place on benchtops, tables, stairs or elevated surfaces. It’s also recommended to place the handles in an outward position when in use.

Keep baskets away from heaters, fires, stoves, open windows, blinds(cords), bench tops and anywhere that could be potentially hazardous or unstable.

CHANGE BASKET SAFETY

Always supervise baby while using changing basket. Never leave unattended while in use.

Do not carry your baby in this basket. Remove your baby from the basket and carry separately while you relocate the basket. It is not designed to be a carrying device.

To ensure the basket is secure, place non slip matting underneath or permanently secure basket to a flat and comfortable surface. Make sure the basket has enough space to rest on with no sides hanging over.

The basket is not designed to be a sleeping device, please only use for the intended purpose.
